Many of us begin our counseling journey when we are experiencing a life transition, working towards making positive changes, and/or struggling to meet the stressful demands of everyday life.  Sometimes we might need support outside of our immediate circle of family and friends, and that’s okay! I work with individual adults 18 years and older who are ready to take the next step towards making a positive change in their life. 

What to expect in Individual Therapy with me…

Taking the initiative to initiate and engage in therapy takes a great deal of courage. It’s important to me as a therapist to establish a relationship with you to understand you as a person, and your life experiences. Your story is important for me to get to know you better, and I strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to engage in open and honest dialogue with me. Whether you are experiencing issues involving anxiety, life transitions, intimate relationships, Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), burnout, self-esteem, work/life balance, or career stress, I favor a collaborative approach where you and I explore and decide together the goals for therapy. 

I frequently use Holistic, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), psychoeducation, and skill building methods when working together to help you accomplish your goals and become your best self.
